Claaa 7 - Material Noun

 Material Noun :: A noun that is either measured or weight but can not be counted is called material noun.

Ex. - water, sugar, rice, gold etc.

Facts ::
1. It is singular and gets singular verb.

2. Generally article does not come before use.
Ex. -
Water are colourless. (wrong)
A water is colourless. (wrong)
Water is colourless. (right)

3. Dregs is the only material Noun that is plural send gets plural verb.

Ex. - Dregs is lying aside the road is the area.  (wrong)
Dregs are lying aside the road in the area.(right)
